About the Role
As a Program Manager for Government Programs, you will act as the primary point of contact for government and industry stakeholders. You’ll lead the end-to-end development, execution, and in-service growth of products and services, ensuring performance across schedule, budget, and technical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own program and contract execution as the main client-facing lead
- Track and report progress to management, including schedule, budget, and technical risks
- Recommend and drive corrective actions to improve program performance
- Coordinate delivery with internal ABS functional teams
- Partner with external stakeholders such as government agencies, shipbuilders, design agents, and operators
- Support government-focused initiatives, including ITAR-sensitive US government projects and international government work
- Contribute to digital strategy efforts such as classification modernization and cybersecurity
Requirements
- Proven experience managing government or highly regulated programs
- Strong contract and program management skills with demonstrated accountability for outcomes
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and complex delivery environments
- Experience communicating program status, risks, and corrective actions to senior leadership
- Familiarity with ITAR-sensitive work and/or international government program requirements (preferred)
