About the Role
Join Public Health Wales and help improve population health and reduce health inequalities. As a Public Health Practitioner, you will support Public Health Network Cymru by overseeing delivery of the network’s development plan and helping connect professionals across sectors to strengthen population well-being.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and delivery of projects focused on wider determinants of health at an All Wales level
- Support monitoring and contribute to evaluation of actions designed to improve population health and reduce health inequalities
- Track delivery of project plans and activities aligned to relevant areas of the Public Health Wales Long Term Strategy
- Help develop co-produced interventions with key stakeholders, including members of the public
- Lead dissemination of knowledge and evidence related to wider determinants of health
Requirements
- Experience implementing public health interventions and programmes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor progress and inform evaluation
- Excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate with a range of public sector stakeholders
- Motivated, proactive approach with the ability to work effectively within a growing team
