About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to support project compliance by maintaining and executing the site-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan. You will plan, monitor, and document inspection activities throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to contract documents.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and execute the project-specific QA/QC Plan, including scopes of work and work procedures
- Develop and oversee engineering procedures such as document control and submissions management
- Create, track, and manage Request for Information (RFIs), material samples, and related documentation
- Document and track potential cost changes and coordinate updates through proper channels
- Oversee inspections across the full duration of the project and report findings as required
Requirements
- Experience with QA/QC planning and inspection activities on construction or engineering projects
- Strong documentation and reporting skills, including RFIs, samples, and submittals tracking
- Ability to interpret contract documents and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Comfort working onsite and managing quality activities in a fast-paced project environment
