About the Role

Join our team as a Remote Human Resources Assistant and help keep HR operations running smoothly. You’ll support employee records, coordinate recruiting and onboarding activities, and provide reliable administrative assistance that improves the employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee information in HR systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including documentation and scheduling support
  • Prepare common HR materials such as letters, contracts, and internal communications
  • Handle basic HR questions and route requests to the appropriate team members
  • Support compliance by following HR policy requirements and data privacy standards
  • Organize digital HR files using consistent naming and filing practices
  • Track HR workflow progress, flag delays or gaps, and escalate when needed
  • Maintain HR trackers and provide status updates on assigned items
  • Support audit readiness by ensuring documentation is complete and easy to access

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel, including data entry and formatting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established HR processes
  • Professional written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
  • Reliable internet connection and comfort working independently in a remote setting
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome—training and guidance will be provided
