About the Role
GitLab is seeking a Revenue Technical Analyst to help turn revenue data into actionable insights that support forecasting, reporting, and operational decision-making. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Analyze revenue-related datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
- Build and maintain technical reporting and dashboards to support revenue performance tracking
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, data requirements, and reporting standards
- Support data quality initiatives by validating inputs, resolving discrepancies, and documenting findings
- Translate business questions into clear analytical approaches and technical solutions
Requirements
- Experience working with analytics and revenue or finance-related reporting
- Proficiency with SQL and data modeling concepts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and comfort investigating data inconsistencies
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical partners
- Experience building dashboards or automated reporting is a plus
