About the Role
Join Renesas Performance Computing Power Application Engineering as a Senior Customer Applications Engineer. You’ll be a key technical contributor and decision maker driving new power management applications for infrastructure and AI server markets.
In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, software engineering, IC design, and applications engineering to deliver innovative power solutions for server computing customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead senior technical contributions for customer-focused power application efforts in server and AI server environments
- Drive decision-making for new power management application designs and solutions
- Collaborate with marketing, software, IC design, and other applications teams to align technical and product outcomes
- Support development of high-performance power delivery solutions, including digital power VRMs, multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages (SPS), and integrated power stage modules
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and application recommendations
Requirements
- Advanced experience in customer applications engineering or a closely related technical role within power management
- Strong understanding of server/AI server power delivery requirements and power management architectures
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering and product functions
- Experience working with power components and platforms such as VRMs, controllers, SPS, and power modules
