About the Role
Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Chef Instructor, Pastry, to serve as our in-store expert for baking and pastry arts. In this role, you’ll inspire customers and guests by sharing hands-on knowledge, helping them build confidence with core baking fundamentals and pastry techniques.
Responsibilities
- Provide #bestincenter service by delivering an exceptional in-store experience
- Teach pastry and baking skills, including fundamentals and technique-driven instruction
- Support engaging demonstrations and customer learning moments in the store
- Share product and culinary guidance that encourages customers to cook and create at home
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of baking and pastry fundamentals
- Experience teaching, coaching, or demonstrating culinary techniques
- Excellent communication and customer-focused service skills
