Secondary Science Teacher Tutor (K-12) | Part-Time | Virtual

About the Role

Tutored by Teachers is seeking an experienced educator to provide virtual tutoring for secondary students across the United States. This part-time role is fully remote, with flexible scheduling and pay that’s competitive compared to many tutoring companies.

You’ll support students with lower-level high school science topics (such as Living Environment and Biology) while working one-on-one or in small learning sessions online.

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual instruction for K-12 students in secondary science fundamentals
• Use clear lesson explanations and targeted practice to strengthen student understanding
• Adapt tutoring strategies to meet learners where they are academically
• Maintain a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages progress

Requirements

• Experience teaching secondary math and/or science at the high school level
• Ability to teach lower-level HS science (e.g., Living Environment, Biology)
• Comfort working fully online with students across different states
• Strong communication skills and a student-centered teaching approach
