About the Role
Microsoft is looking for a Security Operations Engineering Manager to help strengthen cloud and on-premises cybersecurity controls that protect critical datacenter infrastructure. You’ll lead by example, support your team’s growth, and help drive the organization’s security strategy through modern industrial network cybersecurity practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team responsible for implementing and operating network security services
- Oversee cybersecurity control execution across cloud and on-prem environments
- Partner with internal and external teams to advance network threat detection and response capabilities
- Coordinate with leadership to build shared understanding and alignment on security mission priorities
- Drive continuous improvement of security operations processes and engineering practices
Requirements
- Experience leading security engineering or security operations teams
- Strong understanding of network security concepts and industrial network cybersecurity
- Hands-on knowledge of security controls used to defend critical infrastructure
- Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively with leadership
