About the Role
We’re looking for a Security Software Data Engineer III to help advance enterprise security initiatives across encryption, certificate lifecycle management, key management, and cryptographic infrastructure. This role blends deep technical delivery with project leadership, coordinating complex security work across engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support data and automation components for enterprise encryption and cryptographic workflows.
- Implement and operationalize PKI-related capabilities, including certificate lifecycle and renewal processes.
- Support key management and secrets management integrations to enable secure access to sensitive systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to plan, execute, and track security engineering initiatives.
- Develop security automation to improve reliability, reduce manual effort, and strengthen operational controls.
- Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements and best practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with enterprise encryption technologies and cryptographic infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate management concepts.
- Experience with secrets management and/or key management systems.
- Familiarity with security platforms such as Venafi, CyberArk, Fortanix, or HashiCorp Vault (preferred).
- Ability to lead technical efforts and coordinate delivery across multiple teams.
- Location: Remote with EST/CST preferred.
