About the Role
Northland Controls is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Technician to support the installation and commissioning of security systems, including access control and CCTV. You’ll work closely with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to help ensure each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Test all equipment after termination to confirm proper system performance
- Follow Northland’s Safety Manual and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others
- Complete and submit required paperwork, such as vehicle logs, timecards, and field service requests
- Provide updates on project status, delays, or changes to the Lead Technician or Project Manager
- Maintain thorough daily logs covering customer requests, work completed, job numbers, dates/times, and assigned tasks
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company installation standards
- Comfort working in the field and coordinating with a project team
