Security Risk Management Lead (Engineering-Driven Security) | Remote

About the Role

Affirm is building more honest, customer-friendly credit experiences, and security is central to that mission. We’re looking for a Security Risk Management Lead to help evolve our Security Risk Management program into an engineering-driven function that designs, automates, and scales the controls that protect both Affirm and our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement solutions for complex technical and business challenges across the Security Third Party Program and broader Security Risk Management efforts
• Shape security policy while translating requirements into practical, automated workflows and tooling
• Build and scale controls, workflows, and operational tooling to strengthen risk management at program level
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve how third-party risk is managed end-to-end

Requirements

• Experience leading security risk management, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), or security program operations
• Strong engineering mindset with ability to ship automation and tooling
• Proficiency with Python and modern automation approaches
• Comfort working with modern AI-assisted tooling and development workflows
