About the Role

Redwood Materials is building a more sustainable battery supply chain by recovering, reusing, and recycling lithium-ion materials. We’re seeking a Senior BIM/VDC Engineer to support our Infrastructure Development team and help advance projects that transform recycled inputs into battery materials for new production.

Responsibilities

  • Lead BIM/VDC efforts across infrastructure projects, supporting design coordination and construction documentation.
  • Develop and maintain project models and data structures to improve clarity, consistency, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital workflows with engineering and construction requirements.
  • Support visualization and reporting to communicate progress, constraints, and project impacts.
  • Drive continuous improvement of VDC standards, templates, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in BIM and VDC for infrastructure or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of model coordination, data management, and construction deliverables.
  • Proficiency with common BIM/VDC software and workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and field stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset.
