About the Role
Affirm is building the next generation of customer identity and authentication. As a Senior CIAM Software Engineer, you’ll work hands-on within Information Security to design, build, and deliver core CIAM capabilities that help protect customers while enabling business growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate CIAM backend services for customer registration, authentication, authorization, account lifecycle, and profile management across B2C and B2B.
- Own backend identity flows that support secure sign-in and account operations.
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate identity features and ensure consistent security controls.
- Deliver services with strong reliability, operational discipline, and security fundamentals.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience building and operating production services.
- Experience with CIAM or related identity and authentication systems.
- Solid understanding of security best practices for identity-related applications.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and ship secure, dependable features.
