About the Role
Redwood Materials is building the infrastructure to localize a global battery supply chain by integrating recovery, reuse, and recycling. As a Senior Design Manager, you’ll help accelerate design and engineering work at record speed to support large-scale construction through our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive design and engineering efforts supporting construction delivery
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to keep projects moving through design milestones
- Manage design inputs, outputs, and technical alignment across EPC workstreams
- Support planning and execution of engineering deliverables to meet schedule and quality targets
- Identify risks and resolve issues that could impact design scope, cost, or timelines
Requirements
- Proven experience leading design management and engineering coordination in construction or EPC environments
- Strong understanding of design deliverables, technical reviews, and project execution workflows
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards under tight timelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
