About the Role
Microsoft’s Copilots, Agents, and Platform (CAP) Experience Studio is building AI-powered experiences for enterprise customers. We’re seeking a Senior Design Program Manager to strengthen our design operations by improving cross-team communication, enabling AI adoption for designers, and developing repeatable processes that help teams work with clarity and speed.
In this role, you’ll act as a connector across the Studio—helping teams align on priorities, establish operational rigor, and deliver high-impact design at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead design program planning and drive execution across the design and development lifecycle.
- Partner with designers, researchers, content writers, product managers, and engineers to keep work aligned and moving forward.
- Build and refine design operations systems, practices, and governance to improve consistency and outcomes.
- Develop and roll out AI enablement approaches that help designers apply AI effectively in their workflows.
- Establish scalable processes and documentation that reduce friction and improve team confidence.
- Coordinate cross-studio communications to ensure shared understanding of goals, timelines, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Experience leading programs or operations in a design, product, or user experience environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
- Proven ability to create and scale processes, operating rhythms, and program plans.
- Comfort working with AI-enabled tools and helping teams adopt new ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills, with a clear, organized approach to driving alignment.
