About the Role
Buildkite is looking for a Senior DevOps Support Engineer to support enterprise customers by diagnosing and resolving complex CI/CD, software, and infrastructure issues. This role goes beyond ticket resolution—you’ll partner with customers and directly collaborate with Software Engineering teams to unblock critical delivery workflows.
Responsibilities
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve highly complex CI/CD, infrastructure, and software problems
- Work closely with enterprise customers and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement durable fixes
- Design and implement scalable tools, processes, and workflows to balance reactive support with proactive improvements
- Contribute to the evolution of the support function through continuous refinement of support practices
Requirements
- Strong DevOps background with hands-on experience supporting CI/CD and infrastructure systems
- Proven ability to investigate complex technical issues and drive them to resolution
- Experience collaborating across engineering teams and communicating clearly with technical stakeholders
- Comfort designing automation or tooling to improve support outcomes at scale
