About the Role
Tau is a venture-backed advanced technology company in the Bay Area, building next-generation products that accelerate electrification. We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to help develop software-enabled hardware systems across electric machines, inverters, controllers, thermal management, simulation, and charging.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded software that powers next-generation power conversion systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
- Contribute to internal technology roadmaps and support commercialization of existing products
- Work with engineers and technologists to improve system performance, efficiency, and safety
Requirements
- Strong embedded software engineering experience
- Proficiency building and debugging low-level systems
- Experience working in teams to deliver complex hardware/software integrations
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, innovation-focused environment
