About the Role
Roku is seeking a highly technical and strategic Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering efforts for our Content Platform. In this role, you’ll help build and scale capabilities that connect viewers with the content they love, empower publishers, and support advertisers across the TV ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-impact platform features
- Drive technical strategy and execution for content-related systems and services
- Partner with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmaps
- Improve engineering processes, quality, and operational excellence
- Scale systems to support growth while maintaining performance and availability
Requirements
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a complex, distributed environment
- Strong technical background with the ability to guide architecture and execution
- Experience managing end-to-end delivery from planning through production
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams
