About the Role
Dave is building a fairer financial future with technology that makes liquidity more affordable, transparent, and accessible. We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help design and deliver customer-focused product experiences that support millions of Americans—especially those underserved by traditional financial institutions.
In this role, you’ll contribute to Dave’s flagship ExtraCash product and help prepare for upcoming launches in 2026, including a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) offering.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance full stack features across web and backend services
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, user-centric functionality
- Write clean, maintainable code and improve system performance and reliability
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions for new product initiatives
- Contribute to testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement of production systems
Requirements
- Proven experience building full stack applications in production environments
- Strong backend and frontend development skills (languages/frameworks aligned to your background)
- Experience with APIs, databases, and integration between services
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment
- Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor peers through collaboration
