About the Role
McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Company, is seeking a Senior IT Manufacturing System Analyst to partner with business leaders and understand manufacturing processes, workflows, and how they map to current and future software solutions. This role focuses on strengthening our manufacturing operations through clear requirements, reliable documentation, and quality software outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business owners to analyze processes and identify opportunities for improved systems and workflows
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements using structured elicitation and stakeholder engagement techniques
- Create detailed business requirements and system documentation to support implementation and ongoing operations
- Support quality software solutions by translating business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurate, complete, and aligned to manufacturing priorities
Requirements
- Experience as a system analyst or business/IT analyst supporting manufacturing or operational environments
- Strong ability to elicit, document, and validate requirements with diverse stakeholders
- Proven skills in creating clear business requirements and system documentation
- Comfort working with workflows, process mapping, and translating business needs into solution requirements
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, engineering, or product data environments is preferred
