About the Role
Inovalon is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to provide high-quality legal and commercial guidance that supports the company’s mission and growth. This hybrid role is based in Bowie, MD, with in-office expectations of at least Tuesdays and Wednesdays (and you’re welcome to come in more).
Responsibilities
- Advise on legal and commercial matters to support business objectives
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and related legal documentation
- Partner with internal stakeholders to manage risk and ensure compliance
- Provide practical guidance that aligns legal strategy with operational needs
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification
- Experience providing legal counsel in a corporate or commercial environment
- Strong contract review and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate legal concepts for business partners
