About the Role
Inovalon is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support the company’s mission by providing practical, business-focused legal guidance. This role operates on a hybrid schedule with in-office expectations at least Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with flexibility to come in more often.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel across relevant business matters and support internal stakeholders
- Review, draft, and negotiate legal agreements and related documentation
- Assess legal risk and help teams make informed decisions
- Partner with cross-functional groups to support operational and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Significant experience as legal counsel, including handling commercial and/or technology-related matters
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly with business teams and manage competing priorities
- Active legal credentials to practice (state bar requirements as applicable)
