About the Role
Parametric is hiring a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to own the electrical architecture for our mobile manipulation robots. You’ll be responsible for power, wiring, and the communication buses that connect actuators, sensors, and onboard compute into a reliable, working platform.
This is an in-person role in our San Francisco office. We’re unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the design and performance of the mobile robot power system
- Create electronics layouts, harnessing plans, and cable routing for robust hardware integration
- Write bring-up and validation code for the subsystems you build
- Define clean hardware interfaces and hand off working components to software engineers
Requirements
- Experience designing electrical/mechatronics systems for robotics or similar hardware platforms
- Strong skills in power architecture, electronics layout, and wiring/harness design
- Ability to develop and use bring-up/validation code to verify subsystem behavior
- Experience collaborating across hardware and software teams to deliver integrated systems
