About the Role
Join Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) and help shape the next generation of PlayStation experiences. In this Senior Product Design Engineer position, you’ll lead mechanical design efforts within the product development group, partnering with cross-functional teams to turn concepts into reliable, high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Own mechanical design activities across product development cycles
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to define requirements and design solutions
- Develop and refine designs through prototyping, review, and iteration
- Contribute to design documentation and engineering communication
- Support testing and troubleshooting to improve product performance and manufacturability
Requirements
- Experience driving mechanical design for consumer or technology products
- Strong engineering judgment and ability to translate requirements into workable designs
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-moving product environment
- Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical partners
