About the Role
Tekmetric is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape a cloud-based platform used by auto repair shops. You’ll partner with product and engineering to design experiences that make shop operations simpler, help teams grow, and improve how customers engage with repair services.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for key product areas, from problem framing to final UI delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, flows, and interaction patterns
- Create clear prototypes and design documentation to support development
- Conduct user-centered research and use insights to iterate on usability and value
- Ensure designs align with product strategy, accessibility standards, and design system practices
- Present design decisions and tradeoffs effectively to stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio of shipped work
- Expertise in UX/UI design, interaction design, and design systems
- Strong understanding of user research methods and translating findings into product improvements
- Comfort working closely with engineers and product managers in an agile environment
- Ability to communicate design rationale clearly and iterate based on feedback
