About the Role
Fivetran is on a mission to make data access as simple and dependable as electricity. As part of our product team, you’ll help build observability and monitoring capabilities that make it easier for customers to trust their data pipelines—from ingestion through transformation and into the analytics workflows and AI systems that rely on them.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for observability and monitoring across data movement and transformation experiences
- Partner with engineering, design, and customer teams to identify pain points and translate them into clear product requirements
- Define success metrics and measure impact on reliability, usability, and customer outcomes
- Drive prioritization across competing needs, balancing reliability, scalability, and time-to-value
- Communicate progress and decisions clearly to stakeholders, including executive updates when needed
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Manager (senior level preferred), ideally in data infrastructure, developer tools, or reliability-focused products
- Strong understanding of monitoring/observability concepts (e.g., metrics, logs, traces, alerting, incident workflows)
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams and translate complex systems into customer-friendly experiences
- Track record of defining product requirements, partnering on execution, and iterating based on data
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
