About the Role
Apex is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead potable water projects and help deliver meaningful outcomes for communities. In this hybrid role based in Tampa, you’ll manage project execution, coordinate with internal teams and clients, and drive strong delivery performance across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Own overall project delivery for potable water initiatives, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and align stakeholders on scope, deliverables, and milestones
- Manage client relationships and help ensure high satisfaction through responsive communication and proactive issue resolution
- Track project performance, risks, and changes; implement solutions to keep work on track
- Support continuous improvement in delivery processes and team collaboration
Requirements
- Proven experience managing AEC or engineering projects, with a focus on potable water
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of project controls such as budgets, schedules, and risk management
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
