About the Role
Later is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help protect our native, AI-powered platform and the data that powers our influencer marketing intelligence. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to strengthen security across systems, services, and the software delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve security controls for applications, infrastructure, and internal tooling
- Perform security assessments and help remediate vulnerabilities across the stack
- Partner with engineering teams to implement secure development practices and threat-aware solutions
- Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment guidance, and post-incident improvements
- Drive continuous improvements to monitoring, detection, and security automation
Requirements
- Proven experience in security engineering or application/infrastructure security
- Strong understanding of common web, cloud, and software security risks
- Experience with security tooling, vulnerability management, and secure CI/CD practices
- Ability to communicate security findings clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and improving security posture in production environments
