About the Role
Microsoft is driving the AI transformation, enabling organizations to use digital intelligence on demand to improve outcomes and empower employees. In the Copilot, Agents, and Platform (CAP) organization, you’ll help build the platform that powers Microsoft’s AI experiences for years to come.
You’ll join the M365 Core AI Inferencing Engineering team within CAP, where your work supports mission-critical Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 services, including BizChat, Work IQ, Agent 365, and the agent runtime for the next era of work.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve core software components for AI inferencing and agent runtime services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable platform capabilities
- Contribute to engineering practices that improve performance, quality, and operational excellence
- Drive technical decisions across the lifecycle—from architecture to implementation and iteration
Requirements
- Proven experience as a software engineer, with strong fundamentals in building production systems
- Comfort working with modern languages and frameworks commonly used in large-scale services
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and product partners in a fast-moving environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to reliability and scalability
