About the Role
Rockstar Games is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Data Engineering to help build a next-generation game analytics platform. You’ll work on data ingestion and transformation capabilities that support player insights and help improve the gaming experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable data ingestion pipelines and transformation workflows
- Optimize performance for large-scale analytics workloads
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and other Software Engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions
- Enable Analysts and Data Scientists with dependable datasets, tooling, and data-driven applications
- Contribute to engineering best practices for observability, testing, and operational excellence
Requirements
- Strong experience building complex data pipelines with a focus on reliability and performance
- Proficiency with modern data engineering patterns and ETL/ELT workflows
- Experience working on large-scale data platforms or analytics systems
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and translate requirements into robust technical solutions
