About the Role
Rockstar Games is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Data Engineering to help build a modern game analytics platform. You’ll work on large-scale data tools that turn player activity into actionable insights, helping teams understand player behavior and improve the game experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement reliable ingestion and transformation pipelines for high-volume analytics data
- Build data platform components that emphasize performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Partner with Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and other Software Engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions
- Enable Analysts and Data Scientists with dependable datasets and tooling for insights and data-driven applications
Requirements
- Experience building complex data ingestion and ETL/ELT transformation processes
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with an emphasis on reliability and performance
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and analytics teams
- Track record of delivering production-ready data systems
