About the Role
Radiant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help strengthen developer productivity across our engineering teams. In this role, you’ll build and improve tools and workflows that make it easier to develop, test, and deliver reliable software as we work toward real-world deployment of portable nuclear microreactors.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain developer tooling that improves engineering velocity and quality
- Automate build, test, and release processes to reduce friction and standardize best practices
- Collaborate with engineers to identify bottlenecks and implement practical workflow improvements
- Contribute to internal platform and infrastructure efforts that support scalable development
- Write clean, maintainable code with strong attention to reliability and observability
Requirements
- Proven experience as a software engineer delivering developer productivity or platform tooling
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language and the ecosystems around it
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Comfort working with distributed systems, APIs, and developer-facing tooling
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical decisions clearly
