About the Role
Scout Motors is looking for a Senior Specialist to support parts component analysis and the creation and maintenance of part lists and SBOM artifacts. In this role, you’ll help ensure our vehicle programs have accurate, traceable component information that supports electrification, digitization, and responsible product development.
Responsibilities
- Analyze parts and components to support accurate part lists and downstream engineering use
- Contribute to SBOM development by identifying, organizing, and validating component data
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain partners to resolve data gaps and inconsistencies
- Maintain documentation and version control for parts and SBOM-related artifacts
- Support audits and reporting needs by providing clear traceability of component information
Requirements
- Experience with parts/component data analysis and maintaining structured part lists
- Familiarity with SBOM concepts and the ability to work with BOM/component traceability
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with complex technical data
- Ability to communicate findings clearly across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data management tools (additional tools as required by the team)
