About the Role

Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American legacy—reinvented with electrification, digital capabilities, and American innovation. We’re looking for a Senior Specialist, Requirements, to help translate product and system needs into clear, testable requirements that support electrified powertrains and connected vehicle experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Capture, analyze, and refine requirements across relevant vehicle and powertrain systems
  • Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, and traceable from stakeholder needs through delivery
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate scope, interfaces, and technical assumptions
  • Support verification planning by defining acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes
  • Maintain requirement documentation and manage changes throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

  • Proven experience writing and managing technical requirements for complex systems
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, traceability, and validation
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners
  • Experience with requirement management practices and tools (as applicable)
