About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American brand—electrified, digitized, and powered by innovation. We’re looking for a Senior Staff Frontend Software Engineer to help shape the user experience across our connected vehicle and digital customer touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Lead frontend architecture and drive high-quality implementation across complex web applications
- Partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless, performance-focused experiences
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, technical guidance, and best-practice adoption
- Own key UI components and workflows, ensuring reliability, accessibility, and scalability
- Improve engineering practices through testing strategy, observability, and continuous refinement
Requirements
- Strong experience building production frontend systems using modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise with frontend frameworks and component-based UI development
- Deep understanding of performance, accessibility, and responsive design
- Experience collaborating across teams to deliver end-to-end product outcomes
- Track record of mentoring and influencing technical direction at a senior level
