About the Role
OptionMetrics is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our Software QA team on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll help design, implement, and maintain reliable test frameworks that validate the back-end services supporting our financial data and analytics platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated test frameworks for back-end services
- Implement and maintain test suites to improve coverage and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand service behavior and quality goals
- Identify issues, help troubleshoot failures, and support continuous improvement of QA processes
- Contribute to documentation and best practices for test automation
Requirements
- Experience with software testing and test automation
- Strong understanding of back-end service testing practices
- Proficiency with common QA/testing tools and scripting for automation
- Ability to analyze results, debug failures, and iterate on test strategy
