About the Role
The Louisiana Special School District is seeking a Special Education Certified Instructor to support students with disabilities through active treatment in an Intensive Care Facility. This role is based at the Central Louisiana Supports & Services Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Deliver special education instruction aligned with legally mandated educational needs
- Support active treatment services within an Intensive Care Facility setting
- Work with students (children, adolescents, and young adults) who have identified disabilities
- Help ensure educational programming is implemented effectively and appropriately
Requirements
- Special Education certification (as required by the role)
- Experience or training working with students with disabilities
- Ability to support students in an intensive care environment
