About the Role
Alta Vista Innovation High School is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in a personalized, instructional setting. This hybrid role serves online learners, with the assigned school site located in the Greater Los Angeles, Inland Empire, or High Desert area based on organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction tailored to students’ individual needs in a mild/moderate setting
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning plans
- Support online students while maintaining strong communication with families and stakeholders
- Contribute to implementation of IEP-related supports and goals
Requirements
- Valid Mild/Mod Specialist credential
- Clear understanding of special education instructional practices
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment supporting online students
Compensation & Benefits
- Clear Credential: $81,885–$103,721/year plus a $16,000 sign-on bonus
- Preliminary Credential: $70,967/year plus a $16,000 sign-on bonus
- Intern Credential: $68,128.32/year plus a $3,500 sign-on bonus
- $4,000/year IEP stipend
