About the Role
Michigan Virtual Charter Academy (MVCA), a Stride K12 partner school, is seeking a Special Programs Academic Manager to lead and support special education academic operations. This role develops and implements policies and procedures for special education and helps ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
You will also partner with the Head of School to shape and implement broader academic policies and procedures, while contributing to day-to-day school operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee special education policies and procedures
- Manage and coordinate academic matters related to special education services
- Assist the Head of School with general academic policy and procedure development
- Support school operations in collaboration with school leadership
- Ensure compliance with required certification and program expectations
Requirements
- Special Education Teacher Certification
- School Administrator certificate
- Must reside in Michigan
