About the Role

North 40 Outfitters is hiring a full-time Sporting Goods Lead to help deliver a great in-store experience for every customer. In this role, you’ll lead by example—offering friendly, knowledgeable service, driving sales, and supporting a team that’s passionate about the outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and make product recommendations
• Generate sales by helping customers find the right gear and accessories
• Stock, merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized sporting goods department
• Lead and develop team members to support strong performance
• Help safeguard company assets and maintain department standards
• Support store operations during scheduled hours, including weekends and some holidays

Requirements

• Ability to work scheduled shifts during business hours (Mon–Sat 7am–8pm, Sun 9am–5pm)
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Comfort taking initiative in a fast-paced retail environment
