About the Role
Redwood Materials is building a circular battery supply chain that helps power the energy transition. We’re seeking a Staff Electrical Design Engineer to own the end-to-end electrical design for industrial, office, and lab facilities across multiple locations, from early concept through construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design deliverables for facilities across concept, design development, and construction
- Own electrical engineering scope across multiple project types and locations
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure designs are buildable and compliant
- Support electrical engineering decisions that enable safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations
- Maintain clear documentation and drive deliverables to completion for EPC execution
Requirements
- Experience delivering electrical design for industrial and/or commercial facilities
- Strong understanding of EPC processes and construction-focused engineering deliverables
- Ability to manage end-to-end ownership of electrical scope, timelines, and quality
- Comfort working across multiple sites and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders
