About the Role
Redwood Materials is building a resilient U.S. battery supply chain by integrating recovery, reuse, and recycling. We’re seeking a Staff Electrical Design Engineer to own electrical design work end-to-end for industrial, office, and laboratory facilities across multiple locations, from early concept through construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead complete electrical design deliverables for EPC projects, ensuring technical accuracy and buildability.
- Own the design process from concept development through construction support.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align electrical scope with project goals and schedules.
- Develop and review electrical design documentation for facilities across diverse environments.
- Support execution by addressing design questions and changes during construction.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering electrical design for industrial and/or facility projects.
- Strong ownership mindset for end-to-end EPC electrical deliverables.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.
- Experience producing and reviewing electrical design documentation suitable for construction.
