About the Role

Symbotic is building AI-powered robotic technology that transforms how consumer goods move through the supply chain. We’re looking for a Staff Functional QA Engineer to own integration and functional validation from early design through release, partnering closely with software engineering teams delivering real-time orchestration and robotics capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive functional validation for integrated systems across the full development lifecycle
  • Partner with embedded software and systems teams to validate end-to-end behavior
  • Design and execute test strategies that cover integration scenarios and release readiness
  • Identify, investigate, and help resolve defects found in testing and pre-release environments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Strong experience in functional testing for integrated software systems
  • Background working in embedded or real-time orchestration environments is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering teams from design through release
  • Solid problem-solving skills and experience diagnosing complex integration issues
