About the Role
Join our Superblock Capabilities team to help advance next-generation weapons technologies in support of the nation’s strategic deterrent. This role focuses on maturing and integrating critical electrical and pulsed power technologies used within nuclear facilities, ensuring systems are safe, reliable, maintainable, and compliant across the full facility lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate advanced electrical and pulsed power systems for mission-critical applications
- Support the design and integration of power conditioning equipment, pulse power systems, and modulators
- Work with high-voltage and high-power electronics, switching power supplies, and specialized instrumentation
- Collaborate on control, transmission line, and related system components to meet performance and safety requirements
- Contribute to verification, validation, and code-compliant operation for facility deployments
Requirements
- Strong background in electrical engineering with experience relevant to high-voltage or pulsed power systems
- Knowledge of power electronics, switching power supplies, and associated instrumentation/control systems
- Experience working on complex, safety- and compliance-focused engineering projects
- Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines in support of facility lifecycle needs
