About the Role

Join U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist in the Office of Human Resources Management. This leadership role supports the National Programs Division by helping manage, develop, and execute key programs that advance CBP’s mission to safeguard the American homeland and facilitate lawful travel and trade.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervisory leadership within human resources program areas supporting organizational goals.
  • Oversee the development and execution of HR initiatives aligned to mission priorities.
  • Support the Director by contributing to planning, program management, and organizational execution.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure HR processes and programs operate effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting human resources operations and program execution.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities in an HR environment.
  • Ability to manage priorities and support mission-critical objectives.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across organizational units.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $143,913 to $187,093 (GS-14, Step 1 to Step 10), plus applicable locality pay based on geographic area.
