About the Role
KBR is seeking a System Engineer III to join the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center supporting the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). In this onsite role in Sioux Falls, you’ll help advance mission-critical Earth science data systems that enable research, innovation, and informed decision-making worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Support development and engineering of Earth science data systems for the EROS Center
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure system capabilities
- Participate in technical planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
- Contribute to engineering efforts that support scientists and decision-makers
Requirements
- Mid-level system engineering experience
- Ability to work onsite with regular in-person collaboration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to system reliability and safety
