About the Role
We’re looking for a licensed Transit Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for individuals served by our Paratransit program. This non-exempt role focuses on friendly, courteous, and professional service while transporting passengers within the time windows required by our service contracts.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and customer service expectations
- Operate vehicles safely and follow all applicable driving and safety procedures
- Maintain punctuality and complete trips within the designated contract time windows
- Provide a supportive, respectful ride experience to all passengers
- Stay flexible and adapt to changing schedules or service needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to transport individuals consistent with ADA requirements
- Professional communication and customer-friendly demeanor
- Ability to meet scheduled routes and time-window expectations
Compensation & Status
- Non-exempt position
- Pay rate: $20.00/hour
