About the Role
AECOM is looking for a Project Manager to lead Transmission & Distribution projects that support electric utilities. This remote position will focus on planning, directing, and executing moderate to large projects while delivering technical excellence and strong client satisfaction through structured processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for substation and transmission initiatives for electric utility clients
- Oversee key project phases including design, permitting, and construction
- Coordinate community engagement activities to support project outcomes
- Lead project teams and drive progress toward established scope, schedule, and performance goals
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of transmission electric utilities
- Experience managing substation or transmission projects from planning through execution
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results using structured project management practices
