About the Role
UrgentVet provides after-hours urgent care for dogs and cats, helping bridge the gap between daytime general practice and emergency medicine. We’re seeking a full-time Senior Veterinary Assistant to support patient care, assist with clinical workflows, and help lead a team in a fast-paced, modern urgent care environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinary staff with patient intake, treatment support, and routine procedures
- Help maintain smooth clinic operations in a high-volume, urgent care setting
- Provide compassionate support to animals during exams and treatments
- Support client communication and ensure a positive experience
- Contribute to team leadership and help train or guide staff as needed
Requirements
- Experience as a veterinary assistant (and/or senior-level experience)
- Strong client service skills with a calm, professional approach
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, variety-driven environment
- Ability to support animal handling and maintain safety standards
